Leaverbuster Punishes Players for Disconnect Bug in the Game

Mac OS Old computer (mid 2010) Bug: black screen and disconnection from game after successful champ select, then inability to reconnect even after closing and reopening lol.

I have been placed in lower priority queues upwards of 3 times because of the same thing. Matchmaking works fine, champ select works fine, but then once all champs are selected and the lolclient goes away to switch to the full screen lol program the screen goes black and an error comes up saying "error you have been disconnected please try to reconnect" I can hit reconnect as many times as is possible, the game never does. I even quit the game, reopen lol, login again and try to reconnect over again, and still the same issue. This is not fair.

Is it not possible to count the number of times the client tries to reconnect, in order to recognize an honest and persistent attempt to not leave the game is being made?
