Highlights problem

Hi, i got a really big problem with highlights. When i download a replay, and want to record a highlight, afte recording it i can't find anything in highlights folder same as in league client, which means that the highlights are not saved on the computer, so what can be wrong? I already wrote to riot about that, nice people tried to help me but it unfortunately didnt. Does anyone know is this problem fixable? It would be nice if you could help me.
