I was playing a game as Zilean support 
, we managed to get into a teamfight, I ulted myself and I managed to proc it right before Kindred's ult
was activated. And so when I revived I was at 1 health and the Kindred ult healed me for about 300 instead of normally reviving with around 850. Might want to look into other life-saving ults such as Zac's or Aatrox's passives to make sure that doesn't happen.

Partly correct. You can still heal while in Kindred's ultimate area, however once any unit reaches 10% or less of their maximum HP, that unit will no longer take any damage nor can they be healed by anything. They will be stuck at that HP while inside of Kindred's ultimate until the duration is over.
At least, that's how it is supposed to work.

Zilbron James1 votesConsidering I managed to die and proc ult BEFORE Kindred ulted means that my health should have been healed to my ult's ability, not to kindred's, as I technically wasn't alive as Kindred's ult registered that I was 1 health, rather than 0. You can rightly assume that the game calculates Zilean proccing his ult as still being alive before the Kindred ult when he shouldn't be, he's theoretically dead until the ult finishes.
Additionally, I'm not sure Zilean's ult should be classified as a heal considering it renders them immobile and untargetable for the duration. And since it's a revive, aka back to life with a predetermined amount of health, it should be classified as such, since I'm not really alive when the ult procs. If grievous wounds cannot affect Chronoshift, why should Kindred's anti-heal do the same?
Or at least change it so Chronoshift outranks Kindred's ult in order of proc, that way I do revive with my normal health and not a singe point; just as Chronoshift outranks Passives and GA.

"Zilean's Ult is not really considered a heal. It's more like doing a system restore in the Windows OS. I can see why you would ask though. His ult is very similar to heals but the mechanic is quite different." -Spine Splitter, Player Support Specialist
On pointing out that this amount "restored" is still prevented by Kindred ult even though it's not technically a heal, I got this response:
"You got a point, Summoner. Even though Zilean's ultimate is not considered as a heal, Kindred's ult still prevent's the champion being revived, gain HP. Zilean is getting an update in the PBE right now so I believe you could post your opinions and suggestions on the PBE thread." -jeProx, Player Support Specialist

Considering it leaves you extremely vulnerable after a teamfight and can ultimately (heh) cost you a game, I believe it should be changed. Strange how he said "it's not classified as a heal", and yet Zilean still can't gain his revive health back.
