Scared to even play League

I have a very nice computer and really good internet and i'm almost positive this is not from my own error. Basically ever since a few patches ago I get this every so often "Cannot connect, please make sure you're connected to the internet" and then i get slapped with the ban hammer after trying to reconnect for 45 minutes.

I'm just so disappointed at getting punished for something that is out of my control.
