Client pops errors when queue should pop

Essentially I'll be sitting in ranked queue and after a few minutes an error message pops up saying I disconnected from client. This happened a few times and I just wait to reconnect and then restart my queue. Not thinking anything of it, I queued up one more time and same error pops after a few minutes, but when I try to queue back up again I'm blocked with a timer, saying I've declined too many games. So those times errors popped I actually had games pop and I still got docked for it. Could it be connection, something up with my client, or the updated league queue system?
