[CLIENT] PLAY BUTTON UNRESPONSIVE

i open the league of legends client and it opens normally, i manage to log in and no problems, i can see the home screen with the news and all that, the chat works, the store opens, the loot tab opens i can see my profile and save any changes and i can even see my collection.

BUT!

i press the "play" button and nothing happens....i keep pressing play, it makes the sound...but nothing happens....so yeah i cant play league of legends...any help please! any fixes for this bug?.

if anyone has a solution to this bug please help me!

P.S. at the start the client was just slow, like it took 5 mins for the play button to respond and for any button in the game lobby to respond, so i tried to re-patch the client with the hextech tool thinking that it may solve the slow issue and that maybe it was just patching gone wrong BUT! it was the hextech tool which made my play button unresponsive!.
