Kindred Jungle Mark Possible Bug

I was playing Kindred and the mark went to the scuttle/rift herald area. I went and killed scuttle ad the mark did not go away and then rift changed to baron. Later in the game we killed baron and the mark did not go away from that spot and I was not getting stacks after killing baron. The mark just stayed on the baron pit and i could not get stacks from the jungle anymore. Is this a bug, or..?
