Ezreal Q doesn't proc Ludens?

Why doesn't Q proc it anymore? It's an on hit spell.

ezreals q is an attack not a spell, it applies on hit affects, not spell effects. The only reason it even proc'd ludens was because item 3724 damage counted as a spell until last patch.

Rune glaive aside, Q technically is a spell. The only thing that can't trigger Ludens should be e or w. Ludens charges expend on a spell hit.

No, his Q never procd spell effects.

Runeglaive just made the next basic attack proc spell effects and deal magic damage.

AP Ezreal can still work, it's just not grossly overpowered and toxic to lane against.

Just FYI, Ezreal's Q was NEVER able to proc spell effects. It is coded as a basic attack, which means that whatever a basic attack can or cannot proc, the same goes for Ezreal's Q (except for being able to crit). I promise you, it has been this way ever since he was created.

As said before, the only reason his Q could proc Luden's Echo is because of the Runeglaive enchantment being treated as spell damage, which Riot admits was unintentional and removed that in patch 5.13. I promise you, it has been this way ever since he was created.
