Okay so the azir ult

I was just in a game and this Azir ulted me into the wall near red sides second tier turret and I got stuck, now I don't mean I got hit and bounced away then i can can move, I mean i sat there unable to move till his ult disappeared.Now i don't know if him being able to pull of a permanent lock down for however many seconds his ult is intended or not.
