Can't loggin, client says my username / password is incorrect.

So as I tried to loggin, the client send me an error message saying the password or the username is incorrect. Problem is, I made a new password AND confirmed my username via the client options but I stills says that both are incorrect...

Edit: Seems to be fixed, pretty danked that Riot didn't issue a message on the log in screen to advise players that they were investigating this...

They're fixing it now. Check the yellow exclamation mark on the site next to your name.

Same problem here, for both of my accounts. Neither password is working. But was able to login to the site obviously. Whats the problem riot??

Same issue, me and a friend are having issues with the client saying our passwords are wrong. Only the client is not working, website login and password changing options are working fine.

Jesus im glad I wasnt the only one, I thought I had been hacked but even the recover username/password options are just tanking and not working anyway. Please lets get this sorted out!

I've had this problem for weeks. All you have to do is type your password normally, try to login, and if it says it doesn't work then delete and retype the first letter (or number) of your password. Tell me if that works for you guys.

Had to change my password because I thought my account was hijacked. I swear I pressed each key carefully for my password to make sure I was typing my password wrong.
