Cursor locked to center of screen, even after tabbing out of client.

So as a typical alcoholic I was playing ascension this evening/morning. (Don't judge me).

At the very end of the game (197/200, team capping last.... thingie) I decided it would be super hilarious to ping spam (!).

This backfired.

At game's end, my cursor was continuously reset to the very center of my screen. No matter how vigorously I moved my mouse across the desk knocking beer cans all over the floor I couldn't access the button that would release me into the post-game screen.

I assumed that this was just some old spaghetti that managed to work its way into a patch, but even if I tabbed out of the game my cursor was still confined to its life of being little more than an interesting arrow shape marking the middle of my screen.

I resolved this issue in about 15 seconds by doing some CMD tasklist, taskkill /f shenanigans on the league client, but I've never encountered something like this from any game. (There's always bugs, but I've never had them step outside of the process and just slap the crap out of the OS).
