remake

I just reached the highest rank i have ever been, then my internet goes in a lobby. I try my hardest to get back into the game before 3 minutes to avoid a remake. I enter game and there is an existing remake vote. However no one has voted yet. I press No, and run to lane. I ask my team to press no please and they all go "hahahaha" and press yes. I lose and get demoted. How is this fair! surely if you make it back into the game the vote should become void! please fix this!
