Ok, so when I am playing my screen completely freezes but only when i don't move my mouse for about 1 second and it will stay frozen until i move the mouse again. I can hear noises and stuffy but nothing happens on my screen. I have even tried to redownload the game but the problem still occurs. If any riot members would please help me i would greatly appreciate it. I have a 2013 Macbook Pro. This has been going on for about 3-4 months and i think it started with patch 7.1 but not positive

Guys I figured it out I asked riot and he told me this and it worked

This is M0useRat from Riot Games Technical Support, thank you for being patient. Lets see if we can solve your freezing issues. Could I have you apply the following settings to your Accessibility Menu.

-> Open up your System Preferences, head into Accessibility (little blue icon with 2 people on it). -> From the Vision Menu, click on "Display" and disable "Shake Mouse Pointer to Locate" -> From the Interacting Menu, click on "Mouse & Trackpad" and toggle "Ignore built-in trackpad when..."

My MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013) does the same. Also, sometimes during games my screen goes completely dark, I quickly press f2 to wake it up. It has not happened during any team fight but if it does I will just punch my mac.

This is a warning for you mac, get better or...

Hi! I had the same problem, for me the solution was to reset my screen resolution (the Mac one, not the one in game) to "Default for display". It's a pain in the arse cause i much prefer to keep my display at a higher resolution, but it worked for me. Hope it's the same for you!

Yeah, I recently updated my Macbook pro and this exact thing started happening to me. When I do not move the mouse the screen just freezes. I figured out that if you play in borderless mode this will not happen (at least for me). However, it is quite hard to play in borderless mode in my opinion. i tried following the steps Blitzcrank CPU laid out but I am still facing the same problems.

I hope its something wrong with game on your part, but just incase:

Macs are not made for gaming. Which is part of why their specs are quite low compared to a PC released around the same time. Your mac could possibly be bottle necking (thats what caused the game to freeze for me before.) The worst thing is that you cant really upgrade what could be causing the bottle neck because apple is full of money holes, you would have to go to the apple store and have them check it or upgrade to a newer product.

In my experience it seems as if apple tends to secretly sabotage their own product sometimes. Hence my Ipod touch can no longer run any of the apps i had after an update a few years back.

But again, I am hoping it is a bug in the game, because apple products are quite expensive for what you get.
