Lobby freeze

Hi there, I must say this is the most frustrating issues, especially when it comes to blind pick, since i cannot lock in the champion for my wished role. Basically, just as I join a pre-game lobby, the game freezes for around 30 seconds and sometimes I can't even see what my team previously wrote. Any good ideas to fix it?
