mistake dodge in champion select

Hello Everyone,

I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but when I was in champion select today I exit the selection without doing anything wrong and I still got the penalty. I had 35s in selection and after 5 seconds I was kicked out of the selection and because it was the second time that happened today, I get the penalty of 30mins and 10 points. This new champion selection is really not as good as the previous one. It is really confusing and has lots of bugs. I hope riot can see this and fix it asap, otherwise, it's really damaging the playing experience.
