Not loading into game after choosing champ.

Really new to the game, got it yesterday had no issues with anything and it was pretty fun. The next day I jumped into a game chose a champion and waited for it to take me to the game. It didn't and I was left with a reconnect button in the middle of the screen that did absolutely nothing. I tried logging out and back in, the Hextech repair tool that didn't do anything and then tried uninstalling the game completely and reinstalling it.

I'm really annoyed because the game was working completely fine yesterday and now it's not and I think it's because of the 10.1 patch that just happened, if there is a fix to this problem that actually works can you please tell me.
