Shift+Pink Ward = Crash

Occasionally, when I accidentally hold shift and place a pink ward my client crashes. It has caused me to crash about 5 times already. Not entirely sure what causes it or what else needs to be done to cause it, but I do notice that every time my client crashes I am in the process of placing a pink ward (and I think I may be holding shift on accident as well).

I am not sure if riot already knows about this or if anyone else has experienced it....but yeah.
