Thresh Relic Shield doesn't execute minions until level 6
Been a problem for a few months now.
- Be thresh
- buy relic shield as starting income item
- Try to execute minions below 200 health
- fail and get raged at by adc for messing up his flow

uhh I'm about 99.9% sure that thresh can't proc the execute
Rofl, dude, Thresh is ranged. Ranged attacks do NOT proc execute. You still use up a charge and share gold/CS if you get a killing blow, but you don't get bonus damage.

Thresh can't execute minions period...
This is why there needs to be some sort of instruction for Thresh. People who haven't played him before have little way of knowing that he's actually ranged and can't get the benefits of certain items like Relic Shield.
His attacks count as ranged with no missile. This means that he cannot get the benefit of melee only item, but his attacks are also NOT blocked by things like Braum's Unbreakable and Yasuo's Wind Wall because those things block missiles. A missile is a projectile particle that represents most ranged attacks like Ashe's arrows and Caitlyn's bullets.
