Game client stucked at champion ban selection

The game client stucked at champion ban selection thus preventing anyone from my team to ban a champ. As a result we waited around 30 sec and then we got kicked and I saw an error message that there was something wrong during champ selection. Furthermore I received 5 min penalty.
