[GAMEPLAY] Co-Op vs. AI Intermediate - 5th Bot Is Inactive

When playing matchmade Co-Op vs. AI on Intermediate, one of the bots stays inactive until players reach the bot fountain. This consistently occurs with one of the top lane designated champions - specifically the bot assigned to slot 2. Link provided are 3 ending score tables showing slot 2 AI mostly inactive. The only way they got experience was from the nearby minion deaths at the nexus.

Reproducable - Over 15 games played, problem still occurs.

To reproduce:

  1. Start a Co-Op vs. AI Game
  2. Watch as only one top lane champion engages after game starts.

This has not been the first time we've seen this occur, but the problem was solved in days. This patch has been out for awhile, bugs reported, threads started, and I have yet to see a response. Some form of acknowledgement of the issue would be appreciated.

The bot didn't want to feel embarrassed about feeding lvl 1 noobs so it left. Makes sense. Don't question it.

Hey I'm all for top lane finally not having to deal with the 1 v 2 as a "jungler" decides to farm 24/7, but the 5 v 4 does get pretty old pretty fast.

Well they still accrue gold separate from actual performance. I think it has to do with the AFK trigger where if one of your players that queued with you goes AFK/Disconnected then to compensate they'll let one bot stay at fountain but will defend itself once a threat is in proximity.
