For the lunar revel sale I was given the opportunity to purchase Hired Gun Lucian but after I logged out and logged back in it changed to Striker Lucian. I don't want striker lucian, would have gotten hired gun though. Has this happened to anyone else.
The skins that are being replaced in your Lunar Revel Shop are scheduled to go on sale either in January or February. We don't want you to get a Lunar Revel sale only to see it in a regular sale over the next few days, so we have replaced those sales in the Lunar Revel Shop with different offers.
Ya the bug is happening all over the place no news from Riot yet though
My guess is they are trying to have secondary shop refreshes on purchases that you don't buy right away for ones they think you'll prefer but thats just my guess
I'm leaving this post here for Riot staff as it has to do with this issue and the RP Purchase Error that came with it.
I had a very similar issue with Jinx just now. I was going to buy Mafia Jinx/Jinx at 70% off only to find it updated with Firecracker Jinx/Jinx. I believe ( but am not sure that ) the resets are intentional. When I tried to buy the updated Jinx set though I found the shop had an error with the Jinx skin and other skins were still able to be purchased. You can read in detail ( steps to recreation, etc. ) about it here.
Skins that are on sale in February were changed, so you have a chance to get different skins
