Unable to use left click

Unable to;

Click on the shop, Click on the map, Click to cast an ability while using normal cast, Click on champions, monsters or creeps to see their info.

I'm using a laptop (4gb ram, LOTS of disk space remaining, fairly new computer - only about 4 months old). I've seen this problem around a lot recently. All functions work as normal (except "Click to cast an ability while using normal cast") when I hold shift in game. However, this isn't how I normally play and being forced to do it because of this stupid bug is really frustrating. I've reset all keybindings to default multiple times, and played around with many different variations to see if anything returns it to normal. I don't use a MAC but I've seen posts of people with the same problem that do use a MAC. I've only recently had this issue happen to me - After patch 5.22. Thank you.

TL:DR

Left click doesn't work in-game, forcing me to hold shift. New bug since patch 5.22 to me.
