Disconnected from game only to have black screen while trying to get back in.

Around when i hit level 7 maybe 10 minutes in the game I went into enemy jungle to counter jungle and AS SOON as i engaged the enemy my connection instantly dropped to "attempting reconnect" as i watched my champion helplessly die. After that I tried to reconnect and it would just load a black screen, nothing else. Couldn't alt tab out of it. Restarted computer and client and STILL couldn't get in. Finally the game just ended and I'm sure i received reports. How do i fix this ?

Edit: I tried to reconnect 6 times and never made it it once. having to restart my computer every time due to black screen unresponsive.
