The past couple of games i have played have increased in lag until around the 20 minute mark when the game freezes and the "attempting to reconnect" box appears. I had to restart my client to be able to even get back in the game, but the last time it happened, the client locked and now i cannot even open my client. Is anyone experiencing similar problems?
Same exact thing happening to me. Happened today during a ranked game, client just kept crashing and it still won't let me back in.
Ha, you guys have been given a blessing from the elo gods, they are trying to stop you from playing again and losing more LP. In all seriousness, that sucks, and you just made me a little sadder. This is yet another example of another way that the Mac client has crashed or disconnected or frozen in the past two weeks. All of it seems to be coming from the same patch, and Riot seems to be doing nothing about it! Something that Riot did really screwed up the Mac client, to the point that it started having adverse effects on computers too.
I have recently been experiencing lag spikes and client freezes but for some reason I believe it may be due to them setting all the pieces together for the open beta of the new map. if i remember correctly, a few patches back they explained the issues with mac clients(also remember it took awhile for LOL to become available for the mac users) along with before that patch(again if my memory serves me right) they talked about the embedded files containing map fragments that were undetectable( http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/patch/patch-416-notes ). So that there was my theory to the lag and client issues being experienced after the most recent and for you mac users im sure they are trying their best to work with you os, i dont find apple productions very useful when talking about bottle necking( i think thats the right term) DISCLOSURE: ALL PREVIOUS STATEMENTS ARE UNEDUCATED GUESSES! believe what you may .....dun..dun.dun.......
