Didn't get my free win for plat promos

I failed once to get into my plat promos. I got back in, but didn't get my free win. I'm sitting at match point, 2:2 as it should be 3:2 if I got the free win. I'm I missing something here?

You aren't getting free wins in promos after promos to gold 1.

You only get the free win in best if 3 not best of 5.

Why it's like this I have no idea. Probably to make promos even trollier than they already are.
