Can't Add Friends?! Internal Server Error on the Client

Unable to add some friends in the friend list, but others work perfectly! This bug is extremely annoying as I am attempting to add friends I just want to have a match with, but the game is completely blocking me from it. RIOT PLS, this bug has been happening for at least 6 months. When I send the friend request, it gives an "Internal server error" and says to try again later. I have tried again "later" for 6 months and I am sick of this happening. Please sort out a fix soon [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Same problem, even my friends can't add any friends, this so annoying because I've got a friend to play with but we can't add each other, I sent a support ticket in but I doubt that'll do anything.

I have the same issue and it has definitely persisted for over a month. It's unfortunate for people like me who like to add people after games. I wish more people were talking about this issue because this blows! Riot fix this PLS!

I had the same issue, I ended up deleting inactive friends and then it finally fixed it for me (so maybe clear inactive friends as well).
