I can't kill the process of the game because...?

This is complete bullshit: if I am the owner of the machine the game is running on, then I have every right to close the program whenever I please, without having to switch off my computer.

This is a disgusting bug that needs to be fixed.

Pretty sure that's not a bug, and something is wrong with the permissions on your computer.

Odd, I have been able to terminate the game when needed. Perhaps it is on your end, not the games end?
