Black Screen during champion select.

I just got to Gold 5 after many games of trolls in Silver. Then I decided to play with my friend who is in Silver 1, so I send him an invite. When I accepted the game and everyone else did as well, for some reason my screen became all black. I couldn't click anything! My friend was in Skype with me at that time and told me I was first pick and I had to ban, but how could I? So time ran out the and I ended up getting kicked and now I'm at Gold 5 with -3 points! I never had any problems until servers were moved. I get drops at times, I either lag or spike, and recently this. So, I don't know if I should say something to riot about the situation to see if they fix my -3 or I just have to play a game and hope I don't get a team filled with trolls. I know it's not my computer since it's custom build by me and I build computers. I know it's not my internet either since I was watching TV and I need internet in order for my TV to work and the music I was listening to was still working. So I just hope this doesn't continue. :/
