[CLIENT]/[CRASH] Lobby freezes/crashes upon loading

Howdy, first time I've ever had a problem with the game itself.

So I'll boot up the game itself and after I log in and connect to the server, the lobby will load, but nothing will appear. Every screen will have a loading symbol on it and then it will freeze. Then, after around five to fifteen seconds, the game will actually freeze my computer to the point where I'll need to manually shut it down. I've never experienced this problem before this evening and this will occur every single time I load up and enter the lobby.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the game, with no effect. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So, as of yesterday I've managed to fix the problem. I use Windows XP [old laptop], and after doing a bit of a search, I've found that the Updates can cause problems to the client. I've since deleted any Windows update from Febuary 14th onwards and the game works fine. I've also disabled my autoupdates on Windows so this doesn't happen again, but that's just me. Hope this helps.
