Me too, I don't get it. Does it just show the logo and then the hourglass icon thing next to the mouse cursor vanishes and there's nothing LoL related running in the taskbar or task processes either like me?Chogath

I am also having this same issue. This started to occur once I updated my mac to version 10.11.4 of El Capitan.

I have the same issue with my Yosemite 10.10.5 and also created a discussion but yet no answer form Riot staff.

My launcher just pop de icon and disappears and that's it.

Check your anti-virus. It could have seen it as malware or something similar. I've noticed this happens a lot with avast.

Below is how to fix it with avast. If so, right click the icon that's on your dashboard thing next to the time. Click virus chest, highlight the newest options for league, then click restore and ad to exclusions. It will ask to overwrite something, click yes. Wait a second and try opening league again.

If not avast, it should be a similar fix but I don't know the layout of other anti-virus'.

I've had this happen 3 times on my Mac mini, I even spoke to a rioter about it. The only fix I could find was reinstalling. Which I've done 3 times.
