Leauge client laggy on 144hz monitor?

I have a rx480 with a 1800x.

I am laggy on the client for some reason, I feel like it is locked to 60 because I have 144hz monitor, is there any way to unlock the fps on client, it really bothers me i cant browse the client smoothly with spending so much on a pc.
