Login to the PBE has been impossible for me for the past hour. Every time I try to log in, usually spacing it out by every 15 minutes, there is an over 9000 player wait to get on. Every time the check in count resets time gets added onto my WAKT time, instead of continuing to count down from where I was. I know that a new champ was just put onto the PBE, but it should still not cause this much of a back-up. Can we get some kind of confirmation on what is causing these extreme wait times?

Picture attached shows my current wait time, which started about 10 minutes ago at 25 minutes.

You are not the 9 thousandth person in q. You are probably not 9001 either.

Not a bug, working as intended. The rate at which people are logging off is likely very low. PBE has reached it's maximum capacity which is much much much lower than live servers.

Even the live servers get similar problems when a new champ is released.

People play this game for hours, usually not all at the same time. Now there is an enticing reason to log in and continue to be logged in.

so no chance to get on unless theres a break in people being online?

Could be hours and I would place my bet on the 24 hour intervals if you continue to leave the Q. Problems are likely to occur at maximum capacity and even a minor issue with the server would probably mean losing your place in Q (That's my guess). There is likely a small minority of people who slip through that door into the crowded room right now :P

Even if it showed your exact position in q... think of it as an opening and closing door to an overly crowded room.

I'm one of those people that immediately left the Q when I saw over 9000. Ain't nobody got time for that.
