ciient wont finish patch

just got a new comp today and when i installed league and started patch everything is fine until it hits about %80 then it just stops thought it might be my internet so i reset the router and restarted patch but it keeps doing it. the download speed just slowlyy decreases until its at zero. an ideas on why this is happenning
