(Gameplay) Zoe Q hitbox bug?

During a normal game on Summoner's rift, I (Tristana) got caught out by a Zoe E. My Karma (Who was MID) attempted to block the incoming Zoe Q, but it seemed to have gone right through my teammate and killed me. Looking at the attached replay, I'm certain that this went through Karma.

1. Get caught out by Zoe's E
2. Karma attempts to block the expected incoming Q
3. Zoe uses her Q
4. Zoe then uses her R, to maximise the damage of her Q
5. Q goes through Karma
6. Q lands on me and kills me instantly (Due to being around 50% health at the time)

This is the first time I have encountered this personally and do feel it's a bug. Also as an additional note, between 00:14-16 during the R animation, the character model of Zoe seems for glitch/fritz on-the-spot for a few seconds and return to normal. I'm not sure if this affected the above, but I feel it's worth noting.
