xFinity 150mbps Internet cycles on and off while playing League of Legends

So that's the gist of it. Hasn't ever done this before, in the last week it's done it once every day, the last time about a half hour ago. Doesn't matter the time, once was in the morning, this time it was at night, the only common denominator is that it happens when a game is loading for League of Legends, right after Character Selection. Don't know why xfinity/comcast would do this to me while playing LoL, but the fact it happens right when the game is loading, not during character selection, tells me it's a targeted response. Anyone else experiencing this? I thought it might be in response to high internet traffic.
