New client/launcher messing with graphics

I was wondering if I was the only person who had this problem with the new league of legends launcher?

The client itself works fine, but as soon as I enter a game my graphics get weird. The character loading screen flickers between the screen itself and just plain black, and when I get into the actual game my screen has vertical chunks of black that move downwards. I turned the v-sync option and it sort of fixes the problem: the background of the game flickers on and off constantly which is wonderfully migraine inducing.

I don't think it's an issue with my graphics card, because the moment i start my game with the legacy client it runs perfectly normal like it used to.

Am I missing an option I'm just not clicking, or something? This is really frustrating, and I'm worried if it's not an issue on my end that it won't get fixed. ):

EDIT: Just to be clear I also reinstalled league in its entirety. Same issues persisted.

my game gets a bit blurry and if I alt tab everything is like 10x as blurry when I enter games. They say borderless or windowless mode fixes it but then if I put mouse on bottom of the screen it doesn't let me scroll. but it might help you if you try. You can change it with like Alt + shift + F. At least I think that was the combo.

I'm still having the exact same problem two months later, and I'm really worried I won't be able to play Leauge at all if this isn't fixed. ):

can any1 help me? when i disable low spec mode its like the low coz in champ select has shit graphics and in the cilent can any1 help me?
