No option to reconnect to game if computer crash during loading?

I don't know if this is the proper place to ask about this but I guess I wondered if this was a bug? Or what exactly happens in this scenario. I queued up to play a round of ranked and made it through the champion select screen just fine. Then, during the character loading screen, my computer froze. I figured that it was no big deal. It had happened before occasionally too so I rebooted my computer. However, upon logging back in, I was given no option to reconnect to that previous game and was instead reminded not to leave games. So I guess my questions are twofold. One: was that game remade? I hate the idea that I planned a team comp with my team and am not allowed to rejoin now leaving them in a 4v5. Two: If it was not remade, why am I no longer given an option to reconnect to the game?

About how long did it take you to get back into the game in minutes? And if you did freeze while at the loading screen you would be able to reconnect if the game was going on.

Went to work and just got back to see your comment. Game entered loading screen. My computer completely froze. I hit the power button to reboot. I'm back into lolclient within 3ish minutes with no option to reconnect and an option to requeue for a new game.

If the game ends before you reconect you have to restart your client because it constantly tries to reconnect to a game that doesn't exist

Game shouldn't have ended though... I rebooted my computer in under 5 minutes for sure. Unless the game was truly cancelled?

Maybe they did a remake. Is it in your match history as a loss?

I checked your match history, I assume you're talking about your Orianna game? Your team did a remake so you lost and lost LP, but your team didn't lose or gain LP. That's why you couldn't reconect. The game only lasted about 4 minutes before they remade.
