Jinx Q misfire [gameplay], loss of mana
Having jinx as one of my mains, I've noticed that there are times when her active Q (the rockets) what i call "misfire." What i mean by this is that there are times when you are trying to chase or poke, you can get the noise of the fire but you click somewhere else to move, and the shot never comes out. I understand that when you are farming or trying to dodge it can be a good thing to be able to cancel a basic attack. The issue is for Jinx, during this miss fire it still cost you the mana when the sound goes but again not rocket is fired. the second issue I have with this is if you hear it being fired and it cost you mana you are confirming the shot happened, I've been on chase where they need one more shot, and I've had a misfire trying to kite away because the team was on its way or because of a misfire i run out of mana and can no longer use abilities. In a time where its clutch to have mana, it can be a game changer, or even if its just getting that kill.
If you are going to make the noise the shot should be fired, especially if it is costing me mana. But atleast get rid of the cost of mana for something that never even went off.
A way to recreate the issue is by having her Q active (the rockets, NOT minigun) and as soon as you hear the rocket go off click somewhere to move, on to another target, or reclick the target (usually while they are moving) Maybe I am cursed by having good timing with this but it tends to be relativity easy for me to do. I believe you can also see her animation of the recoil effects on her body but again no rocket.
