"Wrong" RP amount display
Recently, i purchase 5000 RP in game. Before my purchase, i had 41 RP remained in my account.
I have bought three lovely skins, which are one Captain fortune 975 RP, one Wild Card Shaco 750 RP and one Blood Moon Kalista 975 RP.
Once i bought these three skins, I found that my RP run out so fast and my RP balance shows only 1341 RP remained, which is 9 RP away from me to buy another 1350 skin.
I decided to do the second 5000 RP purchase (buying 5000 RP instead of smaller amount is my habit).
However, after the second purchase, my balance shows 7341 RP instead of 6341. I believe there must be something wrong, either i read the wrong figure or the system shows a wrong number.
I told myself that it must be my retina problem and Riot will not make this small mistake.
Unfortunately, the problem appears again when i do the last skin purchase.
Before purchasing the last two skins, I clearly know that I have 1541 RP left and I sure I can buy two 750 RP skins.
However, when i buy the last 750 RP skins, my balance shows 41 RP instead of 791 RP and i need to restart lol.exe to get the real figure.
I doubt that i have been misled to buy further RP by the displayed RP figure.
I strongly believe this two errors may be incidents instead of accidents.
Case 1:
Correct situation: 5041 > 5041 - 975 x 2 - 750 = 2341
Reality: 5041 > 5041 - 975 x 2 - 750 = 1341
Why the system will count down 1000 RP instead of smaller or bigger amount? more closer to 1350?
Case 2:
Correct situation: 2341 + 5000 = 7341 > after purchasing some skins remain 1541 > 1541 - 750 = 791
Reality: 2341 + 5000 = 7341 > after purchasing some skins remain 1541 > 1541 - 750 = 41
Why the figure will jump from 791 to 41? The RP system cannot do the simple maths?
i think these situations happen when you reach a certain RP range.
Riot, I am not sure whether it is a bug or some marketing strategies. But i do have a bad shopping experience in your market system. Please give me a full and faith explanation about what is happening. BTW try not to delete my post.
