Windows update crashing League of Legends

I received an update from Microsoft for Windows 10 last night (9/2/2016 update). Ever since my computer was updated it is significantly slower, Cortana has returned (she was disabled) and worst of all League of Legends freezes during games and completely freezes my computer. I have to force power off my computer to get it to work again and I know some others who have had this issue. If anyone knows how to fix the problem please reply or hopefully riot can come up with a solution!
