CLIENT bug stuck in champ select, can't enter game
Twice today I have entered a ranked game, got stuck on the champion select screen, and couldn't see whether the game began or not. The first time I actually was able to click a champion, although I didn't see them get selected. At that point I got a "retrieving data from server" message, and did not see any more activity in the queue. I don't have screencaps of this sadly, but I was worried that the client had registered my choosing a champion and that the game was starting, so I closed out of the client in the hopes of reconnecting. When I got back in I found out I had dodged and I had a 30 min timer before I could get back in and most likely some LP loss.
I was stuck with this screen and I restarted my computer, so I'm hoping that I didn't lose more LP or gain a timer. Here is another screencap showing how long I was stuck on that page: http://i.imgur.com/cG8e4QJ.jpg
The steps to recreate this are easy.
- Login to the client. This is especially likely to happen if the first time you try to log in it says "Logging In" for a half a minute or so before logging you in, if you can log in at all. Case and point.
- Join matchmaking for a ranked game.
- Accept a match. Once I'm in champion select is when the bug begins for me.
Am I the only one whose client is behaving erratically after 4.18?
