Diana autos during zhonyas

I was playing in a aram and she got 2 autos off then hourglassed. the 3rd auto went off after the hourglass had been started and i was killed. im not entirely sure how the bug works i also heard it works when she is returning to life from GA. it may have been because she had her w active when she zhonased.
