Unable to get past 8 marks on kindred (gameplay)

(I posted the game info for the item build path and just in case it has any useful information)

Once i hit 8 marks on kindred in game, once able, i clicked on my next mark (Janna, don't think it'll help knowing who but ehh). A minute or two later I got a assist and didn't receive the mark (i didn't notice right away.) The second time i actually killed her (i never changed marks it stayed on her the entire time) at this point i noticed it didn't give the mark again. Later once i could i changed the mark to Yasuo and once again i got a assist and still did not receive my mark. Near the end I switched it a few times so there are probably a few i missed, but i was focusing too much on the game since there wasn't much i could do)

(I'm not sure if it is a bug where i didn't get the marks or if it was a visual one just not showing me the marks, but both the icon and the passive when you moused over it showed 8 marks and the appropriate numbers for 8 marks.

I am fairly sure this was the first time i noticed this so im not sure how it came to be. (i played her in a custom with no bots where i reached 8 marks by the end of the game. I think that was more coincidence, but there is a small chance i did freeze at 8)(also just in case it helps im using the super galaxy kindred skin when it happened)

I'm going to play her a few more times over the next few days to see how often it happens, i just wanted to post about this before i forget since it is getting later in the day and I'm a forgetful person. (also i can hopefully get to/over 8 marks again)
