Yi Can Meditate Through Veigar Ult
took 0/1300 damage from 
ult while meditating. No shields, no heals, no MR - No damage. Completely negated my ult.

He had Banshee's plus a Maw, added with the fact that his Meditate reduces damage by 50% and you had no pen, that's 100% mitigation right there.
Keep calm and nullify the darkness
probably mid-animation he becomes untargettable so champions stop attacking him? dunno, just an idea.
