No Damage Tool Tip For Smite, After Item Exchange [GamePlay]

I noticed the Smite Damage tooltip has been moved to above the abilities HUD. Personally I preferred having it on the actually smite icon. However, I'm writing because I noticed that after I exchanged my tier2 jungling item for another the tooltip disappeared all together. After dying, the tooltip was back.
