Thresh has 2 hooks, and they're both wayyyy to long.

Fix their broken hitbox first, then we can sit down and discuss about their range.

As for range, at least after seeing Pudge's hook from Dota, this 2 ain't so bad after all. The slab of meat can hook people over the distance equivalent to 2/3 of the river's length or something.

I only see one hook, though you may have mistaken his auto attack animation that flew by Ori at the end as a second one.

The hook was normal length but because it hit a max range target who has a pretty low hitbox (Malzahar) it looked quite long when it stretched because when hooks hit targets they draw a line from the center of the character model to Thresh/Blitz/Naut, so if they hit low on the character they stretch visually to connect with the center.

On top of this Thresh was facing away which makes the hook look even longer because it visually is attached to his hand even though like any skillshot it can be cast in any direction an equal distance.

Hooks just tend to look finicky after hitting things because they have to draw a line from the hook throwers hand to the center of the target's body regardless of how the hook thrower looks or where the enemy was hit.

DId you check the gyazo? And this is the longest hook I've ever seen, and I've gotten hit by several.

Yeah, I still can't see a second hook in there. Could you point out which second it is at? Part of the reason the hook is long is because Thresh turns away at the end, and the ground beneath malz where you can see the shadow still counts as his hitbox, and due to how he is bent over and floating he actually has one of the tallest models in the game in terms of a hook shifting from hitting a low area to moving to the middle of his body.

Edit: Saw the PNG, guessing it is just the frame of it jumping from the hit point to the center. It shows just how much visually further a hook can stretch.

I've just never seen a hook reach that far. Maybe it's a shift or what not, just doesn't look right to me. Longest hook I've ever seen.

Yeah, pretty certain it is just a very extreme case of visual effects. I am glad you are keeping an eye out for things like this though, it is always important to try and catch any bugs we can.

the two hooks you see are from the original path which is fading and connected path, its only for about 2-3 frames. Its still technically 1 hook.

I understand that, but that hook range in the clip is insane.
