How long do Low Priority Que's last

So, I got placed on Low Priority Que from afking too much (not like I wanted to afk, but I was forced). The first low priority que was 5 minutes long for 5 games. I completed that and played about 10 more games after that was over. Then, I afk'd again because my internet cut out (thanks comcast) and I get back on the next day to see I'm in low priority que AGAIN. Now, it is for 10 minutes every time I que. I was expecting and nearly remember seeing a notification that said it lasts for 5 games. So, I played those 5 games, and went to que again, and it says I'm still in low priority que where I need to wait 10 minutes each game with no hint of how long it will take for the que to go away. Just looking for some clarification on how long this que is going to last and how to get out of it... other than not afking. Thanks m8s

i can help, first, before starting a game, evaluate if you have the time. if you do, tell everyone that approaches you while youre playing to fuckk off for 10 minutes. we all know its gonna be about 40 min but tell them 10 min again and again until the game is over, then go do what u need to do.; if you kknow u got dishes in the sink, do the dishes then play. if youree a kid and you never know when moms gonna storm in and throw a chore at you, have your chores done, tell your mom your chores are done and that youre gonna take a "45 min break" and you will continue your work. after the "45 min break" re evaluate your time if you wanna play another game....rinse and repeat. boom bam bing, dont ruin the game for others if you are irresponsible and have not delt with your dutys. (FYI, major medical emergencys and things like that are an excuse for irl not video games)

same problem, I have to wait 20 minutes before each game, but I already played 5 game, but I still need to wait 20 minutes before each games, omg why.

Same, and I don't think its fair considering that I afk'd for less then 5 minutes because I was forced to help with groceries. And it didnt matter anyway since a troll zed went support, fed the crap out of bot and then dc'd. All in ranked -__- but of course no one gives a crap about what he did, only that I afk'd for five minutes "throwing the game" doing so

WHY IS THERE NOT AN ANSWER TO THIS... I mean seriously RIOT you too danm busy to explain about the wait time on the afk bans. By the way just saying that remake BS you guys adding is screwing over A LOT of people. I will confess that I too have an unending ban, and think its unfair for the reason that sometimes while loading into a match my keyboard would blow out. Meaning that I could not use the keys of what-so-ever making it nearly impossible to play. To fix this I would force shut down my laptop and power it back on to quickly login and join the match. In the past this was very effective and I would join in while the match is still loading or be only 2-3 minutes late. THE ACTUAL MATCH DOESNT EVEN START until about 1:30 when the minion spawn given the 15-20 seconds for them to reach the middle of ALL LANES. But even with all this by the time I get on my team has already did a danm remake and I get the afk ban... like really. YES riot i'm happy it only takes like 2 mins to load in. but seriously at least make it past 5 mins to do a god danm remake.
