Ccing Warwick as he ultis you

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it is working as intended, but whenever Warwick decides to ulti you, if you immediately cast some form of CC at the same time, the CC will still take effect, but so will WW's damage.

This has happened to me twice already.

  • The first time was as Vayne: Warwick ulted me right as I condemned him away. I was still able to move, but I saw my health still decreasing as I walked away and eventually died.
  • The second time was as Twisted Fate: Very similar situation where Warwicke ulted me right as I shot my Yellow Card at him. The result was him being stunned, and me being killed by his phantom ulti damage as I walked away.

Warwick would be the worst champion in the game if this wasn't the case. Almost every champion can stun him and completely negate the ultimate milliseconds before Warwick gets to them. That in itself should not be possible.

Damage generally goes off regardless of the animation; if he cast it before the stun, it goes through..

if i remember correctly, that's how suppression abilities that damage work. if you use item 3140 /item 3139 to get out of malzahar's ult, you still take the damage unless you move away if i remember what i read correctly. suppression abilities would actually benefit if they were effected by tenacity because they would do the damage faster.
