Mac os Black Screen Bug

So earlier today (about a week after patch 5.13) I was spectate my friend's match while before I had to leave. Strangely, a black screen replaced the typical loading screen. I thought it was nothing and a few hours later went into a champ select to start a new game. Of course, the same black screen appeared thus not allowing me to play the game. Of course, I was put in to a low priority queue because of this -_- . I went to the riot support page(s) to see what I could do to fix this issue. After about an hour of doing my best to fix this issue, I am at the same place I started, and do not know what to do . Do any of you have the same problem and/or have any advice in how to fix this? I would greatly appreciate it and would love and help! :)
