I was in the middle of a game when the LoL client completely and utterly crashed. Everything else on my computer was running fine but LoL refused to go down so I had to completely reboot my computer. After doing this I started league and got the message "Update failed - unspecified error occurred" Can't do anything past that point...it just results in the same message.

My computer's not the problem, I am fairly sure of that. I am running on windows 8. I've tried re installing but I can't actually delete LoL because it says it's open elsewhere...I've tried rebooting my computer to solve this and there isn't any antivirus messing with LoL so I have no idea what to do...

Same happened to me. I'e tried many solutions but none of them seem to work.

same, but in my case i changed the region over to my smurf's in OCE and once changing back to NA, i would get this 'unspecified error' thing. It irritates the hell out of me and seems it has been happening to many other people, with not many fixes. And even if there were, only the lucky ones would find it fixed...
